About JaeSuk Kim

Born in Seoul, raised in Sydney and now based in both cities, JaeSuk Kim also known as JSK, is best known for illustrating now famously known as the Susu girls.

Having previously worked as an Interior Designer and Fashion/Beauty advertising art director, he brings whimsical yet delicate storytelling illustrations, which has become his signature illustration style.

His illustration career began, when he first designed a series of quirky shaped bag under the name of Susu. Along with the bag, he developed a signature character to support his bag design; – long legged, small pouty lips and short haired with playful and fashion forward attitude. It quickly caught the attention of Bloomingdales and many other clients such as Bulgari, Cartier, Dolce & Gabbana, Style.com Korea, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia. His work was also featured in various media and publications including Vogue Russia, Korea, Elle Russia, Harpers Bazaar US, Kazakhstan, Vogue Girl Korea, GQ, Valentino’s design headquarters and many more.
